Manage Your Sessions

The Prevail Platform provides access to all your Sessions and Session materials. You can view and join upcoming Sessions from the Dashboard, access all of your Sessions and Session materials from the Sessions page, search through your transcripts on the Search Transcripts page, or request to schedule a Session from either the Dashboard or Sessions page.

View and Join Upcoming Sessions

The Dashboard page provides quick access to Sessions that are in progress or scheduled for the near future.

Join a Session

You can join a Session from the Dashboard or Sessions Page.

  1. From the Dashboard page...
    1. In the Upcoming Sessions banner, click Join.
  2. From the Sessions page...
    1. In the Actions column, click Join.

View Sessions and Access Session Materials

The Sessions page lists all your scheduled Sessions, both past and future. You can request to schedule a new Session or use the filters to search for a Session. The Sessions list also provides links to join upcoming Sessions or review materials in Session Review.

Filter Session by Time

You can filter the Sessions list by timeframe using the All Time filter drop-down options. Both past and upcoming sessions are listed by the time distance from the current date.

Search Sessions by Participant

You can use the All Participants filter drop-down menu to filter the Sessions list by one or more participants.

  1. Click the All Participants drop-down.
  2. Select Specific Participants.
  3. In the box, type a participant name.

    Note: To search by multiple participants, separate each name by a comma and a space.

  4. Press ENTER.

Access Session Materials

Prevail members who have purchased Session Review access can access the Session Review page from the Sessions page during or after a Session. Session Review is also available to purchase for individual Sessions and allows you to review Session materials, including the rough transcript, video and audio recordings, and shared files.

  1. From the list, locate a Session.
  2. To filter by time, choose an option from the Time drop-down.
  3. To filter by participant, choose an option from the All Participants drop-down.
  4. In the Actions column, click Review.

Schedule a New Session

You can request to schedule a new Session by completing the Quick Schedule Form. You can access the form from either the Dashboard or Sessions page. Once you submit your request, a Prevail representative will contact you within 24 hours to confirm your Session.

Alternatively, you can email your Session request to Scheduling@prevail.ai. Please include the date, time, and type of proceeding and attach a copy of the notice or pleading.

  1. On the Sessions page, click Schedule New Session.

    The Quick Schedule form opens.

  2. In the Case name * box, type a title for your Session.

    Note: The Case name is automatically formatted into the URL for the Session.

  3. Optional: In the File Number box, type a file number for your document management system.
  4. Optional: In the Claim / Matter Number box, type the claim number for your document management system.
  5. In the Date section, provide the date and time information for the Session.
  6. Add a Witness or Deponent…
    1. In the Witness / Deponent * section, click Add Witness or Deponent.
    2. In the Role * drop-down, select either Witness or Deponent.
    3. In the Name * box, type the full name of the witness/deponent.
    4. In the Email box, type the email address of the witness/deponent.
    5. In the Location * drop-down, select the location of the Participant.
    6. If you are the ordering party, select Ordering Party
    7. Click Add.
  7. Optional: Add additional Participants…
    1. In the Additional Participants section, click Add Participants.
    2. In the Role * drop-down, select a participant role.
    3. In the Name * box, type the full name of the participant.
    4. In the Email box, type the email address of the participant.
    5. In the Location * drop-down, select the location of the Participant.
    6. Click Add.
  8. Optional: Complete the optional sections…
    1. In the Add a Notice / Pleading section, click Upolad Document to attach a document to your request.
    2. If an interpreter is required, in the Interpreter Needed? drop-down, select a language.
    3. In the Additional Details box, type a message for the Scheduling Team.
  9. Click Submit.

    You are taken to the Session Request Summary.

  10. To cancel your request, click Cancel Request.
  11. To edit your request, click Edit.

Search Transcripts

If you have purchased Session Review access, you can search through the rough transcripts for all of your Sessions on the Search Transcripts page. For our long-term members, you will see a tab that allows you to switch between transcripts for Sessions held on our Legacy Platform and our new Platform version. Type a search term in the box and choose the search type from the drop-down. When you click on a line from the search results, you are taken to the Session Review page for the session.
